How to clean your lashes
I’m always banging on about how important it is to clean your lashes every day, especially prior to your infill.
They say a picture says more than a 1000 words… Enjoy!
This fuzzy looking creature is called a DEMODEX – parasite mite living in the hair follicles of mammals (including us). They are a common problem of clients who don’t have a proper daily hygiene routine to keep their lashes clean or specifically keep their lashes from getting wet. All the sebum and dead skin cells that accumulate in the follicles are a great feast for Demodex mites, so they can grow and mate, making the eyelids look inflamed and flaky as if there was some sleep between lashes. The best way to prevent these fuzzy “guests” is washing your eyelashes using an eyelash cleanser – which can be purchased in the salon. Keeping your lashes from water will not make them last longer but could make your eyes sore and uncomfortable.
